At The Monks Pantry we are obsessed with good coffee. Before opening we tried dozens of different coffee providers, suppliers, roasteries, in various speciality machines before settling on one of Ireland's oldest coffee brands JJ Darboven.

We offer a regular blend roast from the JJ Darboven No. 52 blend, and a rotating rich dark roast blend that changes every so often

And we love our funky coffee machine too...and so does the ESB as it's a 3-phase monster :-)

We are a Brunch Café

Serving a full Irish breakfast everyday from 8am to 4pm as well as many lunch options. We have selected the best ingredients from local suppliers including Meeres, and all our cup cakes, cakes, tarts, scones, breads are baked in hour by the wonderful Geraldine L.

Let the kids off on the play area in the Monks Barn and enjoy more and a calmer environment than the hustle and bustle of the Cafe. Enjoy our quirky rustic decor with some oddities including the great chandeliers from the Game of Thrones Set. Gaze overhead at two of the six wrought iron gothic style chandeliers originally used in the great hall among other sets of the iconic series. No Starks were harmed in the making of the barn.
